Hello, wonderful backers!
We're a tad under two weeks away from the end of the campaign, and nearly at 200% funded.
To celebrate, we have a great new stretch reward - school visits!
For every $1000 above our goal, Dianna Sanchez will do a free school visit within 25 miles of Cambridge, MA. Supporters can nominate schools (with the school's permission, please!), and we'll choose the winners randomly. If we hit $5000, Dianna will also offer school visits in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area (in arrangement with her schedule).
And we're putting aside extra sponsored copies of both books for school and public libraries as well!
If there's anyone you know who might like to support some great new titles, and help out schools and libraries in the process, please send them our way :)

Week One Update!

What a week it's been!
In our first week, you've helped us raise over $1500 to support The Demon Girl's Song and A Witch's Kitchen. That's almost 200% of our baseline funding!
All paperback level backers will now have signed bookplates in their books, we'll be scheduling an author chat with Susan and Dianna, and Millie's Cookbook will be a reality!
One of the best things about working at Dreaming Robot is sending off library copies on request. Through the generosity of backers like you, we've been able to keep a pile of "sponsored copies" for any school or public library of all of our titles.
Every additional backer at this point is helping to build that pile - these are both great books, and we're excited to be able to donate a stack to libraries.
If you have the time and inclination, please continue to share the project with your friends and networks. Let's see how many sponsored copies we can hit!

I hadn't thought I'd be sending this until a bit later, but due to your support we're already halfway to the basic funding goal.
Thank you for your pledges, thank you for sharing (and please continue!) -- and we'll start thinking of more stretch goals... I think we're going to need them!
